What New Customers Get
The new player bonus at Ladbrokes comes in the form of a bet £5 get £20 in free bets offer – anyone who doesn’t already have an account can claim the deal.
The free bet tokens are credited to customers after their first bet of £5 at odds of 1.50 or higher and remain valid for a total of seven days after issue. Each token must be wagered in full and can be redeemed on either win or each-way bets on the following bet types; singles, doubles, trebles, 4-fold and upwards accumulators, forecasts or combinations.

How To Release Bonus
You must bet, as your first bet, £5 or more at odds of 1/2 (1.50 decimal) or greater to release your 4 x £5 free bet tokens (total £20).
Note: if that first bet is a single line accumulator it must contain selections which all have individual odds of 1/2 or greater.
The bet must also be placed within 14 days of account registration in order to trigger the free bets and an initial sportsbook bet placed after that time is no longer eligible for the promotion.
How To Withdraw Bonus
The free bet tokens triggered by participation in the Ladbrokes new customer offer cannot themselves be withdrawn as cash.
They must, therefore, be used to place sportsbook bets and must be used within seven days of issue or else are removed from a customer’s account. Any winnings which may result from the use of the free bet tokens will not include a return of the stake itself, but are immediately withdrawable if desired.

Key Features of the Ladbrokes Mobile App
Ladbrokes have long enjoyed a reputation as one of the best bookmakers around, and their mobile app offerings certainly do nothing to challenge that reputation.
Ladbrokes mobile punters can quickly and easily access a huge range of betting markets, spread across an excellent selection of different sports. That access is provided by what is an attractive and intuitive overall app, which includes a number of notable and beneficial key features:
- A great array of betting markets are provided for sporting competitions and events all around the world. Those markets can be quickly and easily accessed, too, via a number of different links featured on the app’s home page, such as the ‘A-Z Betting’ link.
- The innovative Ladbrokes’ social media ‘#Getaprice’ promotion has its own tab on the app home page, allowing quick access to the latest customer requested odds for each day’s biggest events.
- In-play betting also has its very own section within the app, and boasts a huge number of in-play events each and every day. Each of those events, too, have live scoring and statistical analysis presented alongside the available betting markets within the Ladbrokes in-play interface.
- A dedicated ‘Watch Live’ section of the app provides punters with the opportunity to live stream sporting events, greyhound races and horse races. Sporting streams are available to punters with a funded account, whilst an at least £1 bet must be placed on a horse or greyhound race in order to make the stream available.
- Price boosts, daily specials and a range of other promotions are run by Ladbrokes and are made swiftly and simply available through each version of the mobile app.
Licence & Company Info
Ladbrokes, technically now known as the Ladbrokes Coral Group Plc, is a betting company that can trace its origins all the way back to 1886. The name Ladbrokes was first adopted in 1902 and the company in its early years worked as commission agents for racehorses trained at Ladbrokes Hall.
It was after the legalisation of betting away from racecourses in the UK in 1961, that Ladbrokes established their first chain of betting shops and they have hardly looked back since. In July 2015, Ladbrokes merged with fellow betting giants, the Gala Coral Group, in order to produce a truly mammoth company.
The Ladbrokes Coral Group Plc is the subsidiary of that parent company which was formed mostly from previous Ladbrokes operations, and has a registered office in Gibraltar as well as a headquarters in London. That means that Ladbrokes are licensed and regulated by the Government of Gibraltar for overseas punters and by the UK Gambling Commission for customers within the UK.
What Users Think?!
The Ladbrokes mobile app has been available for punters to download for a number of years now and, as such, each version of the app has a number of regular users. A good way to get a flavour of what those users really think of the app is to look at reviews posted on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, and that’s exactly what we’ve done.
Looking first at the star ratings awarded on each platform, the app for Ladbrokes rates higher than most bookmakers’ mobile offerings, with a four star rating on the Play Store and a three and a half star rating on the App Store. What’s more, on the Play Store the app has received more five star reviews than it has reviews at all other rating levels combined.
The overwhelmingly positive reception for the Ladbrokes app is reflected by the comments left by users, too, with most praising the app’s user-friendly navigation and reliable operation. There are, of course, also some negative reviews these generally refer to individual issues suffered by punters and there is no recurring theme to the complaints, to suggest any major underlying problem.
What We Think?!
Just like the vast majority of users who have reviewed the app on either the Google Play Store or the App Store, we also think that it is an excellent option for any punter looking to bet on the move. In fact, we’re so impressed by the app that we have given it an overall rating of 4.5 out of five stars.
There are many reasons why we do rate the Ladbrokes app so highly and most are strengths which the app share with Ladbrokes’ main desktop site. The array of sports which are covered by the app and the selection of markets provided for each sport, for instance, is second to none and means that a Ladbrokes mobile punter is almost certain to be able to find any wager they may wish to place. The app, too, is really easy and quick to navigate and that means that locating such wagers can be done with the minimum of fuss.
Ladbrokes Online
That’s far from the end of the story, too, as the app also includes a number of other great features. In-play betting is brilliantly catered for, the Ladbrokes ‘#Getaprice’ offer is prominently featured and an excellent array of live streams are also readily available to watch on any mobile device.

The Ladbrokes Android and iOS Apps – What’s the Difference?
Ladbrokes Football
The simple answer to this question is that there is not much difference at all. It would not be in Ladbrokes’ interest to provide one set of customers with a wider range of features and services than another and, as such, the major functionality of each app is almost identical. The only differences, therefore, are purely cosmetic and have been introduced to ensure that the apps look their best on the various devices they will be run on.
Whilst Ladbrokes do offer a lot to customers who like to bet on the move, they do not currently have a downloadable app for Blackberry phones. What they do have, however, is an excellent mobile website which can be accessed by visiting mobile.ladbrokes.com through any device’s web browser.
Unlike many bookmakers who offer only an Android and an iOS downloadable app, Ladbrokes do indeed also have a version of their app for Windows Phone users to download. To get it, all you need do is to head to the Windows Store, search for ‘Ladbrokes Sportsbook’ and then download the app.
Ladbrokes have devoted a lot of time and effort to making their mobile app as user-friendly and as beneficial to users as their desktop site, and that has included providing a range of different mobile deposit options. Users of the Ladbrokes mobile app, in fact, can deposit via credit card, debit card, PayPal, Neteller or Skrill. In order to do so, they must tap ‘Deposit’ at the top right corner of the app’s homepage header and follow the instructions.
In order to promote responsible gambling and to help punters keep their betting in check, Ladbrokes allow any customer to self-exclude from their betting account. In order to do this, a customer can either email selfexclusion@ladbrokes.com or call the bookmaker’s customer service team. It is also possible to fulfil an automated self-exclusion process, by opening the ‘My Account’ menu, selecting ‘Responsible Gambling’ and then following the on-screen instructions.

Given that Ladbrokes are a UK based bookmaker, it should come as no surprise that the default language for their mobile apps is English. There are a handful of other language options, however, which comprise Swedish, German, English (Ireland) and English (Africa). These options can be accessed via the ‘Settings’ section of the app’s main menu.
How Do Ladbrokes Protect Punters’ Funds & Information?
As a large, respected company, it is critical that Ladbrokes protect their customers’ personal data as well as their deposited funds in order to protect their reputation. As such, all information shared with Ladbrokes and all transactions completed through their app are protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.
